Step 1:
Start by patting the scallops dry with a paper towel. Then, put a large pan on the stove. Turn the heat to medium-high. Add butter and olive oil.
Step 2:
When the pan is hot, place the scallops in it. Let them cook without moving for 2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove them from the pan.
Step 3:
Turn the heat to medium. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth and let it for 1 minute.
